I discovered Ben (who is not known in Denmark at all :-( ) due to a friend, who used to run Jonathan Tucker?s homepage. She told me to check out Hostage, because Jonathan has a big role in this movie. So I bought it on DVD because it never reached Danish cinemas, and I saw Ben for the fist time as Mars. I was totally blown away by his talent. I was terrified and fascinated all at the same time, by his portrayel of Mars. So I went online and bought all the movies I could find with him and I am a TOTAL fan. The way he is able to play a total psycho and then turn around and play a beautiful Angel, is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! What a talent and what a hottie! My gawd.....

I was overwhelmed by his take in "Bang, Bang You're Dead". His latest role in "X-Men 3: The Last Stand" just validates him as one of my favorite actors.

Ben is not like that. He cares about the thing that is most important: the fans. Unlike other actors, he doesn't care how many column inches or huge paychecks he gets, he cares about the most important people.

An actor who can go from such a dark role as his in Hostage to a Jewish suburban teen such as his role in Liberty Heights has shown me he has no limits to his talent! I still shiver when I think about how much talent he has, and if I ever become a director (cross your fingers guys!!) I'd be honored to have him in one of my movies. It is very rare that you find an actor who can bring a range of personalities to the screen. Most can stick to a particular genre and be great in it but only pull off a mediocre performance in a different area. I first saw Ben, like most, in Flash Forward. Then, I thought he was such a cute little dorky guy (no offense!) - he made me laugh, plus he reminded me of a guy in my class that I had a small crush on. So I developed a small crush on him as well. Once Flash Forward went off of the air, I didn't see him again for a while. I eventually saw where he was in several movies, but I just never got around to watching them. I saw "Hostage" for the first time just recently, and I was blown away. I couldn't believe maniac Mars was the hilarious little curly top from Flash Forward; it even took me a few minutes to figure out where I had seen him before. But he completely infatuated me with his ability to turn from comical genius into a pyro-gun wielding sociopath; he owned the screen. He's not your normal everyday run of hotness; but instead, he has presented us with an entirely new definition of "hottie". This new definition not only includes having the "looks" factor but, instead, is combined wtih talent and presence topped off with an adorable face and award-winning smile. With this as my definition of "hottie", you, Ben, are the epitome. Hopefully we will see much more of you in the future since movies these days could use an actor who can actually act! I am amped to see Alpha Dog, not because of Justin Timberlake (as is the reason for most that are my age), but because you. Thanks for giving me a reason to actually WANT to enter a theater again. About a month ago i saw the movie bang bang your dead....now i did not no who ben foster was ..but after i saw this movie i wanted to know more about him. His performance in that movie is truly outstanding...i just cant believe the character he created...so naturall and amazing... i just think he is a unique talent..and most of all hes not consumed with the media...i truly believe he cares deeply about his work and what he does...not so much about the fame part.... idk what else to say except hes incredible...i am a inspireing actor and muscisian and i keep finding myself continually relating myself to bens character in bang bang your dead...like when im performing i always add something that ben does b/c hes so inspireing....true talent..true devotion

Let's say you go to see a movie. While getting wrapped up in the thought of being able to live the life that these people are living, you see someone, an actor that just stands out from all the rest. Not only is this guy mucho hot, he is incredibly talented. It shows simply through the way that he puts himself on screen and the way that he so greatly portrays the character. You get home; you get on the computer, look this guy up, and learn every little detail you can about them. They set out to catch your attention through their performance, and they got you hooked. Ben Foster is that kind of actor. He is so talented, and yet SO very hot at the same time. I found myself doing the things above the first time I ever saw him perform. I was simply awestruck. Have you ever seen the commercial that says, sometimes, there are just moments when there are just no other words to say but wow. That's what kind of an actor Ben is.
